summer begins

I woke up this morning to sunlight streaming through my window. In my neighborhood, that's a big deal. Before I brewed a cup of coffee for myself, I opened all the windows in the house. It's amazing how much weather influences my mood. Hopefully, this is the beginning of "Indian Summer" in these parts.
